Approaches to Drawing and Painting
Wednesday 10am-12 noon (6 weeks) - Oliver Reed

This class will introduce you to a range of drawing and painting methods and approaches through various points of reference; subjects such as the still life and figure. You will explore materials such as charcoal, oil bar, ink acrylic paints and palette knife. You will be encouraged to be experimental in your approaches to drawing through mark making and painting through exploring varied moods and atmospheres. During this course you will develop your:
• Ability to work from models and still life.
• Confidence in exploring a range of drawing and painting methods and approaches such as materials, scale, timeframes and surfaces.
